Midwest News! April Showers bring May Boating

Spring is here and our service departments are in full swing preparing your boats to go back in the water! New boats are being rigged and service boats are being summerized and prepped for delivery back to our customers.

Don’t forget to call in for your boat to be scheduled. If you have a dock or lift to be installed get on the list ASAP! Once your boat is delivered in the event you notice any damage or concerns please reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Preventative maintenance goes a long way. Here are a few ideas on what you should be servicing on a regular basis:

-Impeller Service: Should be completed on inboards annually per manufacturer recommendations and every 2-3 seasons on outboards.

-Oil & Filter Service: Every 50 hours or once per season.

-Tune ups: Every 3 years or 300 hours, includes distributor cap & rotor, spark plugs, fuel filters, and spark plug wires.

-Prop Repair: Rebuild your prop as needed. Running a dinged/dented prop can lead to additional problems if continued to be used.
